Since 2005, our office in California has been authenticating documents daily through the California Secretary of State’s office. What makes our service unique, is that we can apostille your California documents the same-day and return them to you the next business morning by FedEx.
In California, not every document issued by the County Clerk or State will qualify for an apostille. For example, documents issued by the Health Services Department do not qualify for an apostille because, the document is signed by a Medical Doctor. In order to apostille these type of documents, we will need to have them first certified by the County Clerk. This extra step called an “Exemplification”. You can also request a new certified copy by the County Clerk in order to avoid the exemplification process and cost.
