W2 Apostille

IRS ApostilleDo you need an apostille on your W2 forms?

In order to apostille your W2 forms, you must have the documents notarized.   Each W2 form must be notarized separately.  For example, if you received two W2 forms (different employers), you will need to have each one notarized seperately and apostilled.   You can find a local notary by searching online or by visiting your local shipping store.  If you are outside of the country, we recommend that you mail in your documents to our Washington D.C. office for processing.

A W2 is a standard federal form that employers fill out at the end of the year to indicate your wages and how much income tax was withheld from your pay for the year.  If you did not receive this document, we recommend that you contact your employer and have one issued to you.

In additional to a W2 form, we can also apostille documents issued by the International Revenue Services (IRS) including form 6166 and Federal Tax returns.
