Apostille Notary

Do you need to obtain an apostille on a notarized document?

Documents that have been signed and notarized within the United States can be processed through our office.  Our nine offices are strategically located in order to complete your douments quickly saving you time and money.

For example, if your documents were signed and notarized in New York City, your document must also receive a New York Apostille.  Most people mail in their documents but you are always welcome to drop off your documents with the receptionist.

Only the State office can authenticate the seal and signature of the notary public.

In a handful of States, a signed and notarized document must also be County Clerk authenticated before the State will attach an apostille.  These States include: New York, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maryland, and Tennessee.  If your documents are signed and notarized in the States of Alabama or Georgia, the State will require County Clerk authentication for Countries who are not members of the Hague Apostille Convention.

The most common type of notarized documents we receive are:
– Power of attorney
– Affidavit (sworn statement)
– Background check (Police or Sheriff)
– Copy of Diploma and/or Transcripts
– Copy of Driver License
– Copy of Passport
– Travel Consent
– Authorization of Agent

Basically, any document that requires your signature will also require an apostille.

One of the most challenging aspects of processing notarized documents is that most notaries fail to follow proper State notarial laws.  Also, authenticating a notary’s seal and signature is handled only by the State office.  If the notary did not sign or follow the proper notarial laws of the State, your documents will be rejected.

Be sure to find a notory public who has been commissioned for at least one year and they actively perform notarization for a veriety of documents.  You can find a local notary near you by searching online.  Once your documents have been signed and notarized, the next step is to contact us.
