Please note that we cannot advise you on how to create a power of attorney because we are not international attorneys. We recommend that you hire an attorney in the other country to help prepare a power of attorney. We recommend that your power of attorney be written in English and in the other language (Example: English and Spanish). The benefit of hiring a lawyer in the other country is to prevent any errors.
Is your power of attorney written in another language other than English? Please call our office 1-888-810-4054 so we can discuss your document. In certain situations, you may need to provide a notarized translation into English. Also, in some U.S. States, a notarized document requires County Clerk authentication which can increase the cost and processing time.
Obtaining an apostille can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the Apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries.
